Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract Resveratrol is a polyphenol compound. Resveratrol is a natural polyphenol with strong biological properties, also known as stilbene. It is not only a chemopreventive agent for tumor, but also a chemopreventive agent for reducing platelet aggregation, preventing and treating atherosclerosis and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The research results of the U.S. Department of agriculture show that peanut red coat and kernel also contain a considerable amount of resveratrol.
Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract Resveratrol is a white acicular crystal, which is easily soluble in organic solvents such as ether, chloroform, methanol, ethanol, acetone, acetic acid and ethyl ester. It can produce fluorescence under UV irradiation with a wavelength of 365 nm and can react with ferric chloride potassium ferricyanide. Resveratrol exerts therapeutic effects through a variety of different ways and has certain antipyretic and analgesic activities.
Resveratrol tasteless, white crystal (methanol); Insoluble in water, easily soluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents. The melting point is 253-255 ℃, and 261 ℃ is sublimation. The product can produce fluorescence under UV irradiation. When pH > 10, its stability is poor. It is blue in case of ferric chloride potassium ferricyanide solution and red in case of alkaline solutions such as ammonia. Resveratrol is unstable to light. The microherb stability test shows that the ethanol solution of high-purity resveratrol can only be stable for several days under the condition of avoiding light. Therefore, it is suggested that the control solution and sample solution should be used together when analyzing the content of resveratrol.
